This was a pretty good book. I enjoyed Ember and Austin's story. Ember's background was interesting. Her passion for cooking was displayed brilliantly, which is a huge part of who she is. The connection between her and Austin was intense from the beginning. But with her father, and the pain and guilt he still felt, he made it hard on Ember and she had to choose. Sometimes tho, fate intervenes and can change even the harshest of hearts. Well written, with great detail on Ember's past and who she really is. The secondary characters were great as well. Good job on this one!
